Endodontics - the microscopic treatment of roots
The field of Endodontics concerns itself with the structures located in the interior of the tooth.
Endo = inside
Dont = tooth
When the interior of a tooth is beset by disease, the science of modern Endodontics offers diverse possibilities of saving the tooth.
„Nothing is as good as a natural tooth!“

Every tooth has a space in its interior which is filled with soft tissue.
In general, this tooth marrow (pulp) consists of connective tissue, blood- and -lymph vessels
as well as nerve fibers. The latter fibers have lent their name to the whole, being popularly
known as "nerve".
The pulp is what makes the tooth into a living, sensitive organ, bearing a
connection to the entire system.
